Tomorrow's world

The world is changing; new economic blocs make their appearance and nowadays the economic power is making itself felt more and more from the East, heralding the beginning of the end of the American imperialism.

The Indian elephant will approximately need fifty (50) years and the Chinese Dragon twenty five (25) years to become developed countries; do not forget that the United States took one hundred and twenty (120) years to become a leader and that European countries took almost one hundred thirty (130) years. The truth is that the progress of one (1) year nowadays took ten (10) years in the past during the last two (2) centuries. But indisputably the 21st century will be an Asian century like the 20th century was American and the two preceding Europeans.

The question is now to know what kind of changes the world will be subjected to?
The declining United States currency and the country’s world influence meeting some resistance; will the American Dollars still be the money of reference? Will the Euro take its place on the market or the Chinese Yen? Will Eastern Asia still try to become occidental or the occident will be influenced by the Chinese and Indian Imperialism? It is not for a lack of questions but for a lack of answers; the world is going to experience a new power organization, a new world culture, a new relationship / partnership between countries. That will be the next world.
What about South America which has not the Chinese and Indian Growth, but still the possibility to play a role on the international market. These countries have the better place; let us analyze the geographic environment of this in the not too distant future.

To the East of South America, European Nations are trying as much as possible to realize the French proverb “L’union fait la force” meaning “Union is power” to create a Political Union. This concept will be the most extremely difficult idea - to explain to not only the French people but also the Dutch, Germans, English and Italian - which the continent has ever known. That will take a long time, two (2) or three (3) generations. European people are not ready to lose their respective sovereignties to create a European one.

To the west, Asia will inundate the world with the emergence of new economic societies. The combined power of the New Industrialized Countries (NIC) meaning South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and of the New China and the New India will definitely make a turn to a new page of the World Story.

The declining superpower from the North, USA will not be able to respond to almost 2 milliards purchasing power (From the global Asia) due to the lack of opportunity and also the means. Countries from Asia are well-known to protect their market to allow it to be competitive (these countries have understood how to develop themselves faster than any other). Asian people will have their “thirty glorious years”(period of abundance in Europe between 1945 to 1975) and save money rather than spend it (as the usual Asian strategy); drawing the conclusions of the industrial revolution of the Today’s Developing Countries experiences (Industrial revolution 1880 to 1920). That will have a shifting consumption effect (slowing down the Global demand) killing the Developing Countries’ production inevitably.

South American countries have the resources (Agricultural, industrial, and tertiary economies) to take the middleman power between the new emerging Asian and the Ex-Supra-imperialist-countries; the reasons being their geographical position and their potential.

In the near future we will see, first another high potential zone in addition to the Asian zone, the South American countries and an understanding between European nations and American countries from the North down the South.
This could happen because of the old colonization of the last four hundred years before the Second World War. These countries have a culture originating from the European continent.
And the second reason is because of the important part of the Latin population in USA from the Republic of Mexico and South / Central America; one of the next American President and Government could be (from Latin American Origin) pro-Spanish or pro-Portuguese and develop relations with countries like Spain, Portugal, globally Europe because of the European Union.
The one, who will live, will see. The next page of the world history promises to be interesting.
